<p>We will depart Athens and begin the journey with a short stop at the Corinth Canal. Drive to Epildaurus to visit the archaeological site and the theatre famous for it&#8217;s remarkable acoustics. Onto Nafplion (short stop) and continue to Mycenae where you visit the archaeological site. Depart for Olympia through the central Peloponnese, passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 2 Olympia &#8211; Delphi</strong></p>
<p>In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion, cross the channel to Antirion over the &quot;state of the art&quot; new suspension bridge, considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe. Arrive in Nafpaktos and continue to DELPHI. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 3 Delphi</strong></p>
<p>In the morning visit the archaeological site and museum of Delphi. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 4 Delphi &#8211; Kalambaka (Meteora)</strong></p>
<p>In the morning, start the drive by the central Greece towns of Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala to Kalambaka. In the afternoon we take a visit to breathtaking METEORA. Dinner and stay overnight in Kalambaka.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 5 Kalambaka (Meteora) &#8211; Thessaloniki</strong></p>
<p>Drive by Trikala and Larissa to the famous, sacred Macedonian town of Dion (visit). Continue on to Thessaloniki, the largest town in Northern Greece. Take a visit to the museum and enjoy sightseeing of the city. Stay overnight in Thessaloniki.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 6 Thessaloniki</strong></p>
<p>In the morning we drive to Pella, Alexandra the Great&#8217;s capital city (visit). Continue to</p>
<p>Vergina to visit the tomb of King Philip and the famous &quot;Vergina Treasures&quot;. Then on to Lefkadia where you visit the excavations. We return to Thessaloniki via Verdia. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 7 Thessaloniki &#8211; Athens</strong></p>
<p>Start the return drive to Athens through the Tempi Valley, Larissa, Lamia, Thermopylae famous for the ancient battle that took place there (visit). Kamena Vourla and Athens.</p>

<p>Visit the archaeological site including the Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the stadium and the archaeological museum. Depart via Patras (short stop) to Rion. Pass by the city of Nafpaktos and drive to Delphi. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova and stay overnight.</p>

<p><strong>DAY 1 Athens &#8211; Olympia</strong></p>
<p>We begin the tour by driving to Corinth (visit). Then on to Epidaurus to visit the theatre, famous for it&#8217;s remarkable acoustics. Our next destination is Nafplion where we will make a short stop. In the afternoon we drive to Mycenae and visit the archeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon. Lastly we finish the day in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and stay overnight.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 2 Olympia &#8211; Delphi</strong></p>
<p>Before departing Olympia we visit the archeological site, the Sanctuary of Olympion Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archeological museum. We drive to Delphi through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which crosses over the Corinthian Bay. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Delphi.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 3 Delphi &#8211; Kalambaka (Meteora)</strong></p>
<p>In the morning we visit the site and museum of Delphi. We then depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of Meteora, a group of gigantic rock towers with ageold monasteries nestled on top. Dinner in included at the hotel and stay overnight in Kalambaka.</p>

<p><strong>DAY 1 Athens &#8211; Delphi</strong></p>
<p>Depart through Thebes, Levadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by Casatalia Springs and visit the archaeological site, the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and the museum of Delphi. The afternoon is yours free. Stay overnight stay in Delphi.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 2 Delphi &#8211; Athens</strong></p>
<p>The morning is at your leisure and in the afternoon we return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as it&#8217;s wine and cheese (short stop).</p>

<p><strong>DAY 1 Athens &#8211; Nafplion</strong></p>
<p>Depart for the Corinth Canal (short stop) and then continue on to visit the archaeological site of Mycenae and the tomb of Agamemnon (optional stop for souvenirs). Proceed to Nafplion. The afternoon is free to take a visit to the Venetian fortress of Palamidi which crowns the city or alternatively go swimming. You may also take an optional visit to the National Gallery, Nafplion Gallery. The annex of the National Gallery in Nafplion is housed in a historical building and has a permanent collection of comprising works inspired by the Greek War of Independence. Enjoy an overnight stay in Nafplion.</p>
<p><strong>DAY 2 Nafplion &#8211; Athens</strong></p>
<p>The morning is free to walk to the old city with its neoclassic houses and picturesque streets. Furthermore you can visit Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation, &quot;V. Papantoniou&quot; Museum which was founded in 1974, and in 1981 received the European Museum of the Year Award. The 1st and 2nd floor now house the new permanent exhibition &quot;Urban Greece&quot; mainly focusing on the town of Nafplion and its surrounding areas during the 19th and 20th Centuries. Around noon we will depart for Epidaurus to visit the ancient theatre and in the afternoon we make our return journey to Athens.</p>
